KM Links Game - May - week 1

Thanks Aquagility for posting the link words for us and you go straight to the top of the leader board with 3 correct predictions of the 4 - Charm Offensive, Original Sin and Drill Sergeant so a whopping 6 point start to the new month for you.

DizzyLizzie was the other hot shot scorer for Clean Cut and Lizzie was the only person scoring with that selection.

Original Sin and Drill Sergeant were the two popular choices for inspired guesses with ulysses100, Grenmus, rogerr, devadiva, chiefpanda & twosearch
all scoring 2 points.

Scoring 1 point each were cliffyg, sarumite, Christiana, Alibobs, Arabesque, wickedtongue, keyboardix, LaneyB, Mr & Mrs O, Elspeth, lloyd1e, brizzer, JimJools & chriss and I'm afraid the remainder, including yours truly managed not to get out of the starting gate but never mind, the month is yet young and if all else fails, we can go and pick AQ's mind before he lodges his entry - beats trying to pick your way out of that shrubbery, I can tell you.

Well done to all the happy scorers, it wasn't as easy as it looked, too many possiblities, however full credit to those who made the right selections - I'm off to find out what a charm quark is - I learn something new each week !!

Hi Steff, To save you (and others) the bother, quarks come in 6 flavours called up, down, charm, strange, top and bottom. Quarks are the building blocks of the heavy sub-atomic particles such as protons and neutrons. Not something we mortals have to bother our heads about on a daily basis but the info can come in useful for crosswords.
