top plastic part on vertical blinds

Does anyone know what this is called, and where I can get replacements? With the warm weather the windows are left open, unfortunately, this then leads to the blind twisting and the small plastic part at the top snaps, leaving the blind to fall (I have told the wife to open the blinds as well, but to no avail). Any help appreciated.

Hey quoman!

My husband makes blinds, curtain tracks etc.. for a living. He is out at the moment but when he gets back I will ask him the name of the top plastic part on a vetical blind. At least it will be a start :o)
Ok he is back and he says it is called a peg (is it the plastic part that holds the louvre?) you need a special pair of scissors to remove it which can cost quite a bit but speak to the place that you bought them from and see what they say, could end up being cheaper to buy new blinds in the end tho.
Hope that helps :o)

Thanks for replying. The part is about 3 1/2 inches long, very thin with a hollow square in the middle that hooks onto the top rail! I'll try "peg" on ebay. Thanks
