Sorry wasn't really sure which catagory to put this under. I have just purchased a set of stainless steel pans and my son burnt some chilli in one while we were on holiday, we have managed to get the stain out of the inside of the pan but the outside has gone a gold colour. Is there anything I can do to get it to silver again.

Have you tried scubbing it with a brillo pad?

Or soak it in a sink filled with water and a few denture tablets

Have a go with Fairy Power Spray , it worked on my stainless steel pans .
