The 40 includes all work in that price band for 3 months following the treatment though. (Hubby is NHS too)
Really? Thats good - Oh mybe its not going to be as bad as i thought cost wise then!!
I dont want it taken out - it is near the back but i cant bear to have a gap anywhere in my teeth! If they say thats what they want to do i dont have to say yes do i? Its been like this for three years now and causes me no problems but i watched that Britains worst teetha dn want them all looked at!!
thanks

Its likely that if you have a cusp fracture, you may require a crown.
This would therefore constitute a Band 3 charge which is now 194
This is the most you can pay for any treatment available on the NHS:
So for example if you need 1 crown, the cost is 194
If you need 10 small x-rays, a panoramic x ray, 12 fillings, 3 root canal treatments and 6 crowns, the cost is 194, not a bad deal if your in the latter category.
Not to uneccessarily scare you, but it isn't always possible to restore fractured teeth, so you may end up having to have the tooth extracted, if this was required that would be a band 2 charge which is 43.50
Hope all goes well
