And God made the world in seven days! In the early writings it records how the people had to understand the sequence of things so presenting them with a mental picture of humans being the final addition but they would not understand the time span of millions of years. I was taught in my early days along these lines but in my late teens and early twenties I became to question some of the facts I had been taught. In any aspect of life it is healthy to question and not to blindly follow everything you are told.
