But... My laptop has been repaired and came back today... my bro is trying to set it up (while I am using his laptop.. hehe).. but the little wireless box it popping up in the corner saying 'wireless connection has been detected. To connect to the internet, click here'.. then I click on it and a box appear with the wireless connection and you click on 'connect'.. its the only option it gives you... and then once it tries to connect it then says it can't as internet might be out of range and I must refresh list! Any ideas? My bro is trying to punch in the wep key right now!

Hi rubes, am tech -no-phobe but have you pressed the connection on you mouse holder then the connection button on your mouse? Am sure you have but a while ago I didnt know about this and had to ask, then again I know sod all about IT!
