2. A cat has one, a horse two, some animals have more. An elephant has only three, a crocodile has four. What are they?
3. I am a man, but will never have a wife. I was given a body, but never a life. I was given a mouth, but never breath. Water brings me life, the sun brings me death. What am I?
4. If attempted in some countries, it is punishable. If committed, it is not punishable. What is it?

Thank you very much Jammydodgem for all your answers. I had been struggling with those for days! Can I 'borrow' your brain once again please for the last few.
1. What word becomes smaller when you add two letters to it? (Might it be ER?)
2. What is at the beginning of eternity, the end of time, the beginning of every end, and the end of every place? ( Could this be E?)
3. Fill in the lank, 100, 81, 64, 49, ......? (I thought it might be 36?)
4. The next two I am really stuck with....What is the next letter , A TTFFSSENTQ
5. What is the next letter? S M H D W ......?

2 yes, e is correct
5 M Its a sequence Seconds Minutes Hours Days Weeks and Months.

I can't help with 3 I'm afraid, my maths is terrible. Will give 4 some more thought, but nothing comes to mind immediately.
