programme ford key

Hi I have a new ignition barrel with new key to fit onto a ford fiesta, but I belive that the key wont work when it is fitted as it has an imobiser round the barrel, how do I then re-programme the key ? (I still have old keys) thanks.

it should tell you how to do it in your handbook,if you have one,or fords will do it for you.
