My cats phantom pregnancy

We had our female cat 'done' at the vets so she cannot get pregnant. But now she has swollen teats and a swollen stomach. She has never been outside or in contact with a tom. The vet gave her hormone tablets but these have made no difference. Could it be something other than a phantom pregnancy?

After we had one of our cats spayed, she started producing milk & one of the other young cats started suckling from her. I asked the vet why this was happenning, only to be told she was in the early stages of pregnancy when she was spayed! It was quite a shock & we felt very guilty, but we couldn't turn the clock back.

Mine went through a false pregnancy! She got bigger, her breast filled with milk and she started to "nest", very strange!, but she was fine after awhile and the vet said to let her be, sometimes they find a stuff toy or something that becomes their "baby"
