vectra radio problems

could anyone please tell me how to unlock my radio not sure what i have done but i have tried to enter the code. and now all its showing is 7safe and wont let me do anything
radio is ccr600...have got car pass...
security code...1347
radio type code.....3964
serial no....y1070032
cd-changer type code...6462

it will not let you re enter a code for a certain time,maybe a hour or so,you will have to wait,have you not got the manual for it,anyhow,after a while it will let you try and re enter the code.you must be doing it wrong.

As Norman says the set is "timed out". You must turn the ignition on (or leave engine running) turn the radio on whilst holding the AS button down until the 7-safe appears. Then leave it for a hour or so and eventually the ---- will appear for you to try the code. Unfortunately the engine must be on or the ignition for it to work so make sure the car is attended or locked with another key..

I overheard a guy chatting about his vectra radio in the garage just a few weeks ago while i was in the queue for spares and they had the same problem as you. He was told that you get 10 attempts at entering the code after that the radio has to be sent off to be decoded.
You might need to confirm this at your local dealership though.
