Word 97 help needed

Hi, was wondering if someone could help me before I go insane!!I am working with that ancient programme word 97 and i dont know whats happened but the layout has gone haywire.have spent an hour fixing a whole document only for the words to jumble over the page again the minute i added a new word!each new sentence is ending up along the line instead of at the margin.is there anything similar to wordwrap i can use to fix it quickly? thanks

Something has gone wrong with the formatting of the document. Go to File >New and start another document.
Go back to the original document and highlight all of it (Ctrl-A).
Go to the new one and paste it in. It should be fine then.

Sorry, I should have said that after highlighting the text, you need to copy it using Ctrl-C or Edit >Copy, otherwise there will be nothing to paste.
