Is there any device that allows you to play what is stored on your memory stick OTHER than a pc/laptop?

Have recently moved to Spain and am in no position to buy anything as expensive as a laptop or bulky as a pc but am desperate to listen to the albums I have on the memory stick. I dont want anything that requires headphones (ie. mp3 player) as I want to hear it all around the apartment and its a bit dull going to an internet cafe reading a book all stooped over in the chair.

Guess I'm asking too much, lol.

Cheers anyway!

Some radios now come with USB inputs so you can plug it in that way. Like this one:

Or you can go the low-fi way with a cassette player and one of these

You are in the land of cheap electricals ;-0

My favourite only works in the car

A friend has a car radio that takes them also (notice a pattern here?)

I've seen players that take compact or SD flash cards ... but never a mem stick (I suppose they are a bit sticky outy)

Only other thing I can think of would be Portable MP3 player connected to a battery powered FM Transmitter

you can pick these up for 12.00 or so

Not what you asked but...
I bought a really cheap (30) DVD player that had a USB port, and I often play my music through my DVD player. The model I bought is obsolete now, but if you search a few electrical websites I am sure you could find a cheap one.

Its also really handy as I download lots of videos which I just put on my stick and plug straight into my DVD Players USB port. Saves loads of time normally spent burning to disc.
