Are adverts exempt from this rule ? The Friends reunited one ( where the kids in the classroom say what they are doing now ) has been taken from the Woody Allen film Annie Hall.
Even down to the last little girl who stands up at the front left ( in the film she says " i'm into leather " )
Has anyone else noticed ??

Most copyright holders love adverts - the frequent airings have made hit records of old and new recordings and revived interest in old films and shows.

Ad agencies get their ideas from Films, TV, books, comics ( VIS sued a Burger chain for pinching some of their jokes )you name it, it's nothing new.
