Eating prior to exercising
1 Answers
I went to the gym 7am this morning (been doing this for abour 2 weeks) and after about 20 minutes I suddenly started to feel sick and faint. The instructor made me lie down and then told me that I had to have breakfast before exercising. Plus I admitted I hadn't eaten a lot yesterday. What I want to know is if I exercise at 7am what time do you think I need to eat and any suggestions on what I should eat? Thanks.

When I have a morning training session say 9.00am I set my alarm for 6.00am get up and have my porridge and protein shake and drink lots of water and go back to bed for a bit. This allows me to take on board some nutrition but not so much that effects burning fat.
You also need to give your body enough time to wake up before going the gym, try training at 9.00am instead of 7.00am
1 hour before training I drink 1 cup of strong black coffee. Dont take sugary drinks if your trying to burn fat.
