Hi I had highlighted blonde hair and last week had it semi perm dyed to chocolate brown. My hairdresser says to wait 12 weeks but I want to go back to blonde now. What do you think?

I think you should do wahtever you want with your hair: afterall, what does a hairdresser know about hair?
It really depends on the condition of your hair. I highlighted my hair for years then went brunette, decided I didnt like it and had highlights put in the next day. You should be ok considering its a semi perm dye used x
Well, the hairdresser wouldn't say wait for no reason so if want your hair in good condition i think you should wait.
here is my advice...there is no need to color it back to blonde. Go buy John frieda's sheer blonde shampoo for platinum to champangne blonde hair available at any walmart or cvs. This heavy duty shampoo seriously lightens hair with every use,as it's supposed to bring out blonde highlights. It has lemon juice and stuff in it that lighten. I just colored my hair a dark blonde, when it's usually a sunny blonde and I hated it. the first day of using this shampoo,my hair was lighter.after two weeks it looked like I never dyed it darker at all.Or you could try head and shoulders which kinda strips hair of color as well. Go swimming, and sit in the sun,and it will lighten,I promise! if not,you have my permission to color it back to blonde.
