Just to correct two inaccuracies
A grilse is a salmon (of either sex), which returns to its birth river after spending only one winter at sea.
A baggot/baggit is a hen salmon that has failed to spawn. After spawning, she becomes a kelt.
Plus , a male salmon that has failed to spawn is known as a rawner.
