What is the true colour of sea water???
What is the true colour. With vast amounts it looks blue, but if you collect it your hands it is clear.
In some instances it's green. Is it because of the reflection of the sky on the water???

Pure water is slightly blue but you won't notice this in a pint glass or a sink. Sea water is green because of the chlorophyll in the phytoplankto n. The colour of the surface of the sea largely depends on the sky, blue on a sunny day or grey on a miserable cloudy day.
