How do you make sure you don't put your contact lenses in "inside out" . As mine are so thin its hard to tell the right way to put them in!

Easiest way is to put them on your fingertip and, when holding them in preparation to insert, the profile should resemble a cup as opposed to a saucer. That is, the edges should not flare out...
thats the way its meant to be done - i found it easiest to let them dry off a little on the finger before inspecting as when you first get them out the solution they are just very floppy (then i'd just drop a little solution back onto them before sticking them in)

had eyes lasered in the end cos the contacts were just so annoying!
They just don't feel right if you put them in the wrong way
Another method I use is to dry them off a bit and then set them in the crease on my hand just under my little finger.

I then slightly close my hand so that the lens doubles over on itself. If it is inside out, the edges will flair out, if it is the right way round, the lens rolls in to form the shape of a taco, like in this picture:

Put your specs on, have a look, remove specs then insert correct way up.
It's an absolute pain in the ar5e. I cant tell whether i'm looking at a saucer or a cup, so I've rejected all the much more economical brands in favour of Johnsons daily acu-vues which have a 123 embossed on them which will only read right if they're the right way round. I pay dearly for this little detail but it's the only way for me!
Hmmm, you will know if they are in the wrong way, they wont feel right...
