Holiday to sell..
Due to unfortunate circumstances, we are looking to see if there is any one who would be interested in a 16 night stay in alcudia, all inclusive, flies out on 19/6/07.
My sisters fiances dad booked the holiday for him & His wife, but sadly alzhiemers has really taken hold in the last 2 months and she has gone from forgetting a few things to not knowing her own kids and husband.
When he booked the holiday he didnt say his wife had alzheimers (it wasnt a problem then, just the odd forgotten thing) and because of this the insurance company wont refund any of the money paid.

it wasnt me going, it was just for the couple.
My sister is looking to put it on ebay, but her pc has died at the mo so she cant!
It is just an added extra to aq very bad time for my sister and her fiance at the mo. They are getting married on 7 July, and have been told my sisters fiances mum wont be there as she is in such a bad way.
The lady is 69, and the man who booked the holiday is 70, so we really just want to be able to get this sorted for them.
He is having a very hard time understanding his wife of 35 years wont be coming home again, even though she was fine 2 months ago.

What a shame, I do feel for them. I dont really know what else to suggest other than advertising it in the local paper maybe? They will need to check first that the details on the booking can be changed to somebody else's name first.
I am sure you will get suggestions from others on here - they are a helpful lot! It may be worth putting in under the Travel section and you may get more replies. Best of luck to them.

or write/phone the local ads in the paper? its what people used to do before internet you know! I guess its annoying losing out on the holiday, but i suppose in the grand scheme of things its probably not that important to get the money back as there is so much else going on at the moment. She would need to check the names can be changed, cause if its a package, quite often they cant be changed without paying a lot
