pretty tacky, they also sell them in the catalogue, I suppose our opinion isnt really important, if your friend likes that kind of thing then he would probably love it! its different if nothing else

Don't they have a wedding list? That's what wedding lists are for, so that we don't have such trouble finding what we think people will want, but buy something they definitely want off the list! If I was getting married I would much prefer something off the list - even if the giver wanted to give something different and unique I'd rather the present off the list. People's ideas of different and unique are never the same!

Would probably cheaper to buy an actual coffin and kit it out with shelves. It would certainly give me the creeps, especially if there were candles in the room too.

The egyptian one is lovely shame its a cd cabinet.
An avid collector of egyptian trinketts i feel it is a bit tacky but then it is not for me it is for your friend.
The gas pump is just horrid

I think if you're really going to spend that much money on a wedding present, you could do it sooooo much better. If i had to choose though, i would go for the petrol pump but even then , it would have to be in the right place to fit in! Not great im afraid Joe! Get yourself an Argos catalogue, much cheaper and less tacky items!

i'd have to see it close to see if it was tacky though - if its cheaply painted and looks all mdf and new and crappy then yes it would be awful, but if it has been hand made to look very realistic then i think it would be cool
