I think Disney do "recruitment rounds" in various European countries - at least they did one when I was 18, which I am afraid was over 20 years ago; but I'd be surprised if they did not still do them. I suggest you contact Disney (the company) to make enquiries. Find them in a London telephone directory or even just by going to a Disney shop and asking for the Head Office address.
The legal drinking age in Florida is 21 so you couldn't work in a bar.
As said previously you will have to wait until you are 21 to be able to work in the bars in America
Competition is fierce....you have to contact Yummy Jobs (based in London) who recruit soley for the UK on behalf of Disney...there is no other way to do it. The only job you can do as a brit is the cultural rep program based in Epcot (in merchandise or food and beverage) Initially you send off your cv and photo...they then either accpet or reject you for a telephone interview...this is further whittled down to about 150 people who are invited to a day of interviews in London at the Disney HQ (done by american disney people specifically flown over to do the job). There are about 50 places up for grabs per half year....I think. There are over 3000 apllicants for the job...so as I said competition is fierce. i'm lucky enough to have got through and am leaving in decmber for a year. You are not able to undertake any other work when you're over there due to they type of visa you get....you have to be representinhg your contry. To apply email your cv or enqiuore at [email protected] or check out the www.wdwip.com website (especially the discussion boards) Dont be put off...the interviews etc are great as far as interviews go...not really hard. juts smile be chatty and be yourself. Be a disney type person. Anyhow hope this helps...oh and get in and apply soon, as the next round of interviews are currently being selected for November...if you miss these the next arent till march I think.....that means you prob wont be leaving till december 2005 if you're lucky enough to be sleected. Hope to see you out there Pascalle
