Yes i'm refering to the ones posted in the sports section! None of them were abusive. People posted their opinions! Just because every single person that posted agreed that the old site was better meant that the questions were removed. Let us see stats to show the new site is better, let us see some of the positive feedback thats supposed to have been sent. How can you expect people to accept this when we are blatantly being ignored and obviously our opinions don't count! Feel free to ban me if you like, the sports section was the best topic on here. Now that it's gone, who cares if I get banned!

If there is one thing thats for sure, it is that this will be deleted too efc. It's ok to post all sorts of rubbish in this category and others but if you once dare to blow a whiff of opinion that is not accepted by AnswerBank, your thread will disappear.

Any idea how many peoples posts were swept into the Abyss? Anyone?..................hello...
Don't you just love democracy and freedom of speech, be nice to have some. The old sports section was far superior but that counts for nothing, the one they have now is the one they want, maybe in the end there won't be one, I never visit it now.

Well said Ray - I certainly won't be going back there!

I had several posts removed yesterday, nothing abusive in them but because they contained opinions that differed from ABs they were removed.
Hi efc,

I never really visited Sports before the 'big change'.. but have checked it out since your postings....
... what can I say hun, I've put my twopennyworth in on your behalf...
... It'll probably be banned, as its so damn confusing over there I may have posted it to two catagories....
......sorry.
yes, why not? That's an editor's job.
It may be the editor's job jno but why delete posts that are purely debate and not offensive?

Posts that accuse other people on here of being 'kiddy fiddlers' and wishing cancer on people etc etc seem to last a lot longer on this site than the one asking for a change back to the old AB Sport category. I wonder why that is?
perhaps the latter don't get reported? If they aren't, the Ed probably won't see them; I doubts she reads everything. (I think if they get reported by 3 people they will instantly vanish, though the Ed can reinstate them.) But I should think she does read everything in AB suggestions, so action is likely to be quicker.

As to why she deletes one thing and not another... well, like I say, that's her job; she's the editor. She's accountable to the people who pay her wages (Crystal Guides, I guess) but not to users who don't pay anything and have no particular stake in the site. It's offered fre to users, but they have to accept that the editor's decision is final. Her house, her rules.
