Hi, I just brought a used HP C4180 printer from ebay and have basically been stitched up with a printer that doesn't seem to work. I went to install the ink cartridges but in order to do this the carriage has to move completely to the right hand side of the printer. It doesn't do this even when i turn it off, unplug etc and try again. I havn't opened the ink yet incase it doesn't work as i paid 45 pounds for it and want to be able to take it back. It may be that i can manually push the carriage to the right load the ink and all will be ok but i don't want to take the chance if it's not. Any ideas would be great. Thanks a lot.

thanks for that, unfortunately mine is a normal inkjet printer and the help page is for a laserjet company. Thanks for trying anyway. Jim.
