If a games manufacturer was to port Goldeneye from N64 to say Xbox 360 or PS2, and keep the gameplay, maps and weapons the same but update the graphics, would you buy it?

i think it's a great idea. imagine online muliplayer in facility, library and temple...

Nice idea but not gonna happen.

It was a Rare game on the Nintendo 64.
Rare are now owned by Microsoft and the Bond license by someone else.

I liked perfect dark but of course it was the same game engine...
Goldeneye was the best multi player game ever.

I skipped school on plenty of occasions with my mates to play it!

You had to take the radar off though! More supprise!

If it was to happen then I'm sure it would appear on the Wii's virtual console. But at the moment Nintendo employees have said that Goldeneye 'might' be a little too expensive.

This'll probably be your only bet on it appearing on any console.
Nice idea, and a good game. But if I wanted to play it again (it was my bro's N64) I'd emulate the N64 on my PS3 via Linux.
