is it possible to record digital channel.i can record sattelite(sky) and analogue but can i record digital

Yes it is.

You need to determine the input - mine is AV2, yours could be AV1, EXT1 and so on.

Set the video or dvd to record the correct channel - AV2 in my case, turn the digital box on to the channel you wish to record.

The box must be left on that station throughout the recording. Depending on your setup you may have to leave your television turned on and tuned in to that channel too.
Sky is digital and you are recording that.

I assume you mean from a Freeview box.

If so where is the Freview box (inside a TV, separate box, inside a DVD recorder etc).

And record to what, Video, hard disk or DVD.

If you are going to ask a question like this please help us by giving us some useful informaiton.

no freeview box.just a sony bravia 32 inch tv which has freeview built in.dont really know how to describe it but we can record from sat(sky) and analogue but a friend of ours was told that to record freeview you must have a seperate box
