Wreck of a pirate ship

Did anyone watch the documentary about the discovery of a pirate ship off the coast of Cape Cod?

What a complete waste of time it turned out to be, all they managed to bring up from the depths, was a lump of lead.

But the most annoying part was the choice of presenters, Vic Reeves, and a Black girl (don't know her name). He was completely out of his class and her total contribution to the event was her ability to keep coming out with the expletive ' WOW ', in awe and amazement at everything she was told.

lol anotheoldgit! My hubby started to watch it and soon turned it over! He can't stand June Sarpong (the black girl you mention) She does tend to say "Wow" alot and I think her voice just really grates him.
I think both of them were a very odd choice of presenters for this program.

Yeah i agree! I mean come on Vic Reeves!?! They should have had pirates such as Johnny Depp presenting the show lol!!!

If you are interested in old ships see here for an almost completely preserved 17th Century ship that was raised from in the bottom of the sea in Stockholm, Sweden.

It is called the Vasa and sunk on its maiden voyage. I visited the museum a few years ago and the boat is in almost perfect condition.

Because it sank in fresh water not sea water the boat survived.

Wow (eh she has got me at it now) that is certainly a wonderful ship, vehelpfulguy. Thanks for the link although your second link stated that it was forbidden for some reason.

~wingnut~ Why did you call yourself that, it isn't appertaining to your ears in anyway? I do hope not. Can you tell me what does June Sarpong do? and I agree with your Husband her voice does grate.

Sony_1 Johnny Depp would have been a good choice, but I don't think he would have done it for Vic Reeve's fee.
