With the news that the BBC is going to do a 'looking for Tony Manero' show, I wondered wjether the reject Dannys from ITV will be allowed to compete?

Dear God when is this going to end! First "The Sound of Music, then "Joseph" and "Grease" and now "Saturday Night Fever".

I bet all those people who have trained/sloggedr/been out of work for years to try and make it as an actor/singer/dancer are really, really pleased now!

I think they should give it a rest and spend money on more interesting and eddifying programmes. Like half an hour of watching paint dry!

To answer your question probably although I am sure we will find, as with various "Maria" 'rejects' , that they get cast in other shows. Indeed dame rumour hath it that such a thing is already on the cards with a potential Joseph and another ALW show.
