Can anyone name a green coloured mammal as this was put to me the other day and it is really bugging me! There must be one somewhere i just can't think! help!

There are no green mammals, because mammals are unable to synthesise blue/green pigments, unlike many birds and reptiles.
The nearest (cheat) answer is that some sloths have algae growing in their fur and appear greenish.

The two-toed sloth is often green because its fur is usually matted with moss and other green plant material.
Dolphins/ whales can develop greenish blue coloration. Land based mammals do not. There is more to this than inability to develop green pigment- frogs do not develop green pigment!!
