just wondering if shaving 'down below' is okay to do ( i dont' like waxing)...ive heard that you can get ingrown hairs if you shave which are really painful but wouldnt' this just be the case with waxing aswel?.....could you suggest any alternatives aswel if there are any please....thankyou in advance x

Go ahead and try it. Not everybody has that problem but make sure you use moisturiser afterwards. It feels good!

Shaving doesnt last very long though, shaving rash and stubble look NASTY down below. Try hair removing cream, you get special bikini stuff.

If you do shave, use a sharp new razor and a shaving product, and do it daily. Always shave in a downwards direction. Then you shouldn't get ingrowing hairs.

It is true you get the odd in-gornw hair with waxing too, but I'd rather wax every couple of weeks than have to shave every day.
