so, what are everyones theories about the best drama on tv at the moment? Personally, looking at the clues, I think I've worked it out: it centres around a secret, mist covered island; there are many different animals on the island; the apparent 'leader' of the animals is a polar bear. Got it yet? Yes, the mystery is solved, Lost is a live action update of the cartoon, Noah's Island! I welcome all theories...

Would this account for Jacks "Grizzley Adams" appearance or 6ft Walt appearing out of no-where - what the bejeez is actually going on?

Interesting point about walt, i was thinking about this. the show will has been on for 3 years now, except in the context of the show, its only been 3 months. how the hell are they gonna get away with walt looking 3 years older, because its so much easier to tell when your that actors age.

My first thought about the coffin was Ben - a lot could happen between now and the end that could mean Jack would be upset about that. On other sites they have shown close-ups of the newspaper clipping and that the name is something like J.... ....anthan.......could it somehow be Jacob?
