What Solicitor and where?
Ok, I am a student, therefore no money, but my parents are seperated and my mother has just been taken into care. Her bank have told me that if I have to sort out her accounts I need to see a solicitor to look into getting power of attorney.
1) this is in scotland, so I guess I need a scottish solicitor?
2) does this have to be my mum's solicitor or any? I don't know who hers is and she shredded most of her paperwork
3) will it cost me anything? My mum doesn't have much money either, and I am nearly flat broke with all the travelling to see her.
