is this the "now for something different" puzzle? as clare says, it would help if you put which puzzle, number of page and the issue number, we answer a lot of take a break puzzles and can't remember all the clues!

I decided it was probably something as dull as 'skirt' and put it in the clothes box. Ultimately I was left with a pink box.

Thank you Allotment10. The website you suggested is FANTASTIC. It gave me the ultimate answer to the puzzle but not the actual answer to the clue. Never mind. It is fantastic not to be left feeling frustrated!

campbelling was correct, the answer was "skirt" . so it went into the clothes- related box.
