new shape ford focus

has anyone encountered any faults on these yet? i have a noise sounds like a bearing or something/any clues

where is the noise coming from

Do not take this as gospel, but I think that Ford may have a recall problem related to a serious steering fault, take it to a main dealer and at least ask them if it is so, if only for your own peace of mind. One of my neighbours had a bearing type noise and that is what it turned out to be.

Foucs new shape Nov 2005. My steering pump failed on the road due to the hose popping out of the pump. Screeching noise due to loss of fluid. Steering goes heavy. Trailer job to main dealer. FORD KNOW ABOUT THIS. Modified hose part ( wrong sized pipe comression ring in joint) However, Ford HQ refuse to acknoledge fault, but dealer does, and there is NO PRODUCT RECALL.
fFailure suddenly at speed is in my view, a serious safety hazard. How can we get Ford to accept liability and recall ? My Focus was fixed under warranty after 6 days.
