Bloody Pikeys in Town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18 Answers
Just come back from the pub where a group of about 10 pikey's took residence in a large corner.
The landlord, God bless him, turned to me for support when they started getting drunk and a little bit ooh and a little bit arrrrr.
Mmmmmmmm, on my own with only two other locals with the combined age of 130. Yeah right.
I wouldn't fancy my chances against one bleeding thieving gypsy bar5tard let alone 10!!!
Anyway, to cut a long story short, tactics were the way forward and I ended up having a good old drink with them.
Don't get me wrong, my wallet was buttoned down deep in my pocket and none of them will ever be invited to my home, but I just wish to say that one must not judge a book by its cover, as I so often do.
A fine bunch of peasants, one of which had a Roxy Music tattoo, which is fairly cool I suppose. I think they originated from Norfffffooooorrrk. They didn't quite speak like Brad Pitt in Snatch, but had a funny old accent.
Wardy Goes Liberal??? No, but I did my bit for tolerance. Not a question, just a shared emotion.

She was idly minding her own business recently when two females turned on her for no reason other than the fact that she merely glanced in their direction for a brief moment. The fact that she made eye contact was coincidental , as she was merely lost in thought and not really paying them any attention whatsover. They began shouting that they believed that she thought herself to be better than them and that she thought that they were 'dirty gypsies' then one of them pulled a knife on her and plunged it deep into her leg. She lost a fair amount of blood and was told at the hospital that she was extremely lucky that this crazy woman had narrowly missed an artery in my sister's leg. I try not to tar them all with the same brush but feelings are still very raw at the moment with the problems which this particular crowd have caused lately and my sister is still living in fear , as the case against her appears to have been dropped now. Good old British justice.
Enigma, what an horrendous episode.
I proposed a movement to set up the Wardy Vigilante Group for exactly this reason. Sadly the legality and AB opinion on such was like flogging a dead horse.
Tell your daughter to carry Impulse and a lighter. Even the hardest of pikey will cower with a minature flame thrower in their face.

The problem with a mob of vigilantes though is , where does it end and what does it solve ? There was a case in Stirling a good few years back with a notorious family called the Haneys who terrorised the Raploch area and despite a large proportion of them being incarcerated , still continue to do so. Anyway , the matriarch of the family , Mags Haney , led a vigilante group to rid the streets of local paedophiles and generally clean up the area of Raploch and regularly featured on news bulletins , bleating on about restoring order to the streets and ensuring a general feeling of safety for the residents - ironic really from a woman who is renowned for allegedly living a life of crime and having sourced income from her evil drug peddling. She soon found herself on the receiving end of the same vigilante crowd who decided that Raploch had simply had enough of the Haneys and used force to have them removed. It was her grandchildren whom I felt sorry for , unfortunate enough to be born into such a monstrous family and have to suffer for their wrong doings.
There is no law and order with vigilantes and they tend to think first and act later which more often than not results in dire consequences and instances of mistaken identity. It is so easy to deviate from the beliefs which I hold so dear to fantasise about doling out unconventional forms of retribution to such offenders but that would make me no better than them and I console myself with the knowledge that I am better than that and that I was brought up better than that so to resort to anything else would be just lowering myself to that level. It does stick in my throat however to see scum - for want of a better word - escaping justice.

My daughter ? Sorry but I am a little confused as it was my sister I was referring to. My three children are very young and I wouldn't dare let them out unattended. When the time comes to cut the apron strings however , I may very well heed your advice ! In the meantime however , I continue to encourage my eldest daughter's interest in Tae Kwon DO and will do so for my other children .......... just in case.
