Returning a phone

I'm buying a new phone on contract its the new nokia n95, I have been reading the reviews and there is a mixed view, I just wanted to know that if I purchased the item and was not satisfied ie phone kept crashing, short battery life, if I could exchange the phone for another model, if I haven't got insurance

If it keeps crashing, then yes, I would say that its faulty and therefore you should get a replacement.
If the battery runs down after 2 days and they had advertised it as lasting 5, then again, I would say yes. However if they had advertised it as 2 days, no.
If you are not satisfied for no other reason than you don;t like it or the phone doesn't do what you want, then no, you can't change it.
Even then, I would assume that the network would provide you with another phone the same, I doubt they would let you change model.

If you buy online from somewhere like E2Save (carphone warehouse) then because you haven't actually ever seen the phone they let you swap the phone for another one if you don't like it - I think within 7 days. I know this because I've just bought a new phome from E2Save and this was mentioned in all the welcome pack I got with it!
