According to the official website, there are 984 bars in the area around Santander, so I think that you might be able to find a drink somewhere ;-)

OH my god I was there! We thought ity was soo cool not to get the transport back to the ferry as where we were could watchit comin in and then at least we had an hour while they cleaned it. My god I turned into an alcoholic that weekend. I boarded the ship ****** and my the boyfreind didn,t know what to do, love me or leave me (it was early days) he chose to leave me , but for some reason I got on with nothing no passport, no tickets and got through my god GO! espesially the old spanish taverna,s. Have a good time I THINK I DID
