Refitting bathroom

I am in the process of getting some quotes to have a small bathroom refitted - it will involve removing and replacing the bathroom suite, and removing and replacing wall and floor tiles - wall tiles at full height around the bath only. The bathroom is really small and the quotes seem quite a lot - has anyone had a similar job done recently and what sort of costs were incurred? Would removing the tiles myself make much difference to the cost?

Labour only 1200
When I got it done recently, I removed the tiles myself and paid 200 for refitting the bathroom.

I didn't retile though so can't help you with that part of it but my plumber did remove the rest of the tiles which I couldn't get at because they were behind the electric shower, toilet etc
