I think its the fact that your feeling down in the first place, that your looking at your body in more detail and finding faults with it.
Try to get outside in the fresh air, also it will give you the oppurtunity to see other people about and see that you dont look so bad after all. I dont think a size 10-12 is that big , but you will only put more weight on if you worry more...

In order of your sadness you have placed your job first. I assume therefore this is the prima facie cause of the miserable life you lead.
As with so many problems there are only two things you can do.
1) Deal with it
2) Or don't.
If you don't deal with it you will realise that many jobs are tedious, dull, underpaid, boring, promotionless, pointless, unfulfilling wastes of time. Time will pass until you leave and get something mildly more exciting.
If you deal with it, then your life will change. Find new employment NOW, there are so many opportunities out there it is unbelieveable. But it is down to YOU to change it. Job offers are not going to land on your doorstep or email account out of the blue. You have to sell yourself, and being a miserable moo-moo is not doing you any favours. Travel the world, work abroad, join the forces, go to University, get on a training scheme, join a decent firm. The list is endless, but you have to do the ground work.
As for being 9 and a half stone, I totally agree something has to be done about this appalling weight to be accepted in the real world. For Christs sake girl, try and be at least 10 and a half for Christmas. I, and many others, can not abide all these skinny sorts. Go and eat some Ben and Jerry's now!!!!!

Hear hear JTL!!
The world really is your oyster - I'd go back to 18 in a flash to have a chance to do it all again. If I did though, the first thing I'd concentrate on would be finding MORE to do! Life's too short to worry about your flabby bits, and if you fixate on them, others will too. When you're old and PROPERLY flabby, you'll wonder why on earth you wasted a moment thinking about it.
You have nothing to hold you back moomoo, so off you go!! Keep us oldies posted while you conquer the world....:o)

take up a sport you enjoy, stop concentrating on bits of flab (I could show you a fine roll!) look at changing your job, start enjoying life.
You wont be young forever and 10 years is surprisingly short!, so before life does really get difficult, enjoy the freedom you have. its true what everyone says above, you just have to listen and take heed!
hindsight is a wonderfully depressing thing!!
