I'm looking to buy a generator for my allotment so I can use my Qualcast electric mower, my Black & Decker strimmer and hedge clippers. Will an 800W be powerful enough? If not which one is best. Thanks!!

The only advice which can be given is to 'read the labels'.

Some Qualcast mowers (e.g. the Concorde 32 cylinder model) only require 400W. Others, however, (such as the Power-Trak 3400 rotary model) are rated at 1200W.

If all of your appliances are rated at less than 800W, then (assuming you only plug one in at a time), an 800W generator will do the job.

All electrical appliances should have a plate or label showing their power rating. (If you can't read it, try Googling for the appropriate model). Check the three labels and you'll have your answer.
