Invoiced for more than original quote
What is the situation where a party contracts orally with a workman for services to be provided for a certain price and (having completed the work) he invoices the party for a higher amount? Does this higher amount have to be paid?

Even if it was a fixed price, there is still the issue of 'fixed price for what?' if extra work was needed it can (sometimes) be charged for.
