have pipes going up at back of a fridge/freezer, instead of boxing them in with wood, does anyone know if there is a thin plastic clip on type of covering that would fit over them. hubby has googled but can't find anything that helps.

Most of the larger DIY stores should have them. I saw them on my local Focus store this past week. There's an example here. (You can buy them singly in-store). Make sure to get one that includes the pipeclips that the pipes clip into, and that the cover clips onto. (Focus ones do).
