Salmon tins (bones in them)

Im eating a tin of salmon in work!

Just wondering...although they sell salmon tins with bones and without why is there never bones in a tin of t una and they are in a tin of tuna???

please let me know!

don't know for sure but I would assume that as tuna is a much larger fish the therefore much larger bones are easier to remove at the processing stage.

Warpig3 is correct in that a tuna is much larger than a salmon and therefore it is east to remove the flesh from the bones.

The bones in the salmon are the best bit to eat anyway because they contain the most calcium.
