fuel economiser and engine performance enhancer

i have been given a leaflet about this firm. i don't know if anyone has come across this firm and their claims, but would like some opinions on it. basically it's a gadget you fit to your car battery that is supposed to make your car engine more efficient and give better performance. it costs nearly �100 to buy.

Be careful on anything like this it can mess up your ecu espicially if it is a new ish car!!

waste of time! get your tyre pressures right drive carefully using gradients and your gears effectively thatll put 5-7 mpg on your economy

4 photo's of the same product, each with text quite clearly typed on as an afterthought, an msn emial address and a website that looks like a **** poor ebay listing. Also, one of the distributors is a guy in north london called 'dave'

I'd stear well clear.

If it was that good at increasing power, lowering emisions and being generally good for the environment i would expect an endorement from a reputable agency.

thanks everyone, all good answers. my initial thought were the same as yours but i didn't know if anyone had actually tried them. i've always got economy in mind so i do check tyres regularly, get into top gear as soon as possible drive carefully etc, so thanks again for your thoughts.
