Hi mollymandy i answered asimilar thread the other day , just had to mention the best meal ive enjoyed in ages.Home made steak & kidney pud, cauli&broccolli in a cheese sauce with baby carrots and new potatoes from our own garden, still thinking about it two days later!

My friend is of Mexican origin and made us a chicken spicy thing last week (can't remember the name.)
It was fab.
At the mo I'm eating chocolate covered peanuts....

onion bhajee's with some mint sauce. Our resteraunt does these gorge little itty biity bits of onion bhajee/pakora. you get a massive big bag of them and they r delish!!

I've been trying to get a cheap home-made pasta dish 'just right' for ages. (I don't work from recipes. I'm a 'chuck it in and try it' type of cook). Earlier this week (after months of making something roughly similar about once a week), I finally got it exactly right. It was absolutely gorgeous (and tasted even better because I knew I'd created it myself).

Last night I had a lamb curry and spinach baji from a small cook-chill close by. They only offer about 5 different dishes, but each is a marvel.

I added a chopped scotch bonnet which gave pockets of fiery heat.
