Hi, this has been driving me bonkers for 2 days now, at first media player wouldn't acknowledge the blank disc, so I rolled back to the previous version so it was no longer MP11 - now, when I try to burn, it gives the following error message:

0xC00D11C9: Cannot copy files to recordable disc

They are good quality discs', I dunno what the heck's going on but am just about ready to sling the whole damn thing out the window. Please can anyone help?

There could be several reasons - is it playing cds ok? Have you tried copying something else, avoiding WMP altogether? Try copying a document, for example.

Are the drivers up to date?

You may need to clean the lenses with a woosh of canned air.
