Just got 9d to do, A Jewish religious and social sect founded in Poland: H?S?D?S?. I thought it might be something to do with Hasidic, but I can't find a form to fit these letters (apart from Hasidism, which doesn't fit the sense).

I've got every dictionary going - except Chambers! Obviously I ought to get it as well.

You definitely ought to have Chambers: in fact, if you only have one dictionary ( & you do crossword puzzles ) that one should be Chambers.
