Famous gardener

This gardener's name has twelve letters, and begins with W. I don't know where the division comes between the christian and surname. Can anyone help, please?

There is William Aiton ( he has a twelve letter name) who was a gardener sometime in the 1700's. He was a botanist but a trained professional gardener and head of the Chelsea Physic Garden and also a director of the botanical garden at at Kew .

bob flowerdew, the answer reads up from the bottom right hand corner not top to bottom. hope this helps

Hello, beanie. I can't remember any of the answers in the last issue, but when the next mag comes we can certainly collaborate on working them all out.
