we bought some sweetpeas last year which we have planted. They seem quite healthy and have strong stalks and leaves. the flowers start to form but if you touch them the buds fall off. Can you suggest what we might have done wrong please.

Have you had any cold weather? That's usually the cause. (are you in the uk?)
Sweet peas need to be in a sunny spot in rich soil that will hold moisture.
