Afterlife

I am watching the programme Afterlife,  and I reckon it's fantastic.  Is anyone  here psychic? 

When I lived in Germany there was this woman who said she was psychic and she saw me for no more than 2 minutes as I was leaving a mutual friends house one afternoon. What this boils down to is she says she saw my friend with me who died over 11 years ago also gave a few private details that weren't known,  so does anyone believe in this stuff and what experiences have they had of it either as an actual psychic or anything like I had.

Am a firm believer in that sort of stuff!

Not only have I had various premonitions but I've known people who have had the most bizarre things predicted that have come true.

Am happy to think that loved ones that have died are still with us after they've gone.  Look out for white feathers, a sure sign you're being looked after!

luckily, there are plenty of ducks, seagulls, pigeons etc that have white feathers, otherwise I may think that that I wasn't being looked after.

BUT..... and a big BUT

there are alot of people who wanna use their "gift" to tell u ,  or anyone else what u wanna hear.

i used to work as a medium /clairvoyant..and have seen many people that have passed over with my clients..in fact thats what some people come for readings for ..to see if their loved ones will come through..you cant guarantee anyone coming through but if the circumstances are right then it happens..me my husband and daughter have all seen our dog that died in our house maybe just a tail dissapearing round the door ..or up the stairs ..but he is allways around..and some times the dog i have now stares..at nothing !!! with his ears up...you usualy find that spirits draw in close when its either the date of their passing ..someones birthday or other celebration..or if you have problems they draw in to be with you..

when i lived in germany i saw a crowd of jews walking down the road..i asked the germans who lived in the flat underneath us..and they nearly had a heart attack...where we lived was built on a interrogation centre from the war..it had all been knocked down and flats built...

have posted here before regarding personal experience of having met psychic ...but just to add something to this thread here is my experience again.... was stopped on way home late one night (in pouring rain) by a psychic...she insisted that I let her hold my hands for a few seconds...she predicted a specific life threatening event and the first letter of its name to the year (16years in the future) and the consequences........take it or leave it!

China Doll- whether or not there is any truth in it, this must be very irresponsible behaviour. What good can come out of frightening people like this?

When our cat came from the kitchen to the living room, he would peer apprehensively round the door into the corner of the room, then leap over the doorstep and hurtle into the room like his tail was on fire. The old lady who had the house before us loved dogs, so we joked that there was the ghost of one of her dogs in the corner, but really we thought it was just our cat being peculiar.

Our cat died earlier this year and just recently a cat from down the road wandered in and behaved in exactly the same fashion when coming into the living room!

So maybe there is a doggy ghost in the corner after all!

I do believe in the afterlife and I believe in spirits and stuff, but I have never given anyone  money to to read my palm etc, and I have never been to see a psychic nor I have felt the need to. Plus there are too many charlatons out there and I'm way to tight to pay out for this.

Has anyone here been to a phsychic and what was the experience like ?  what happened to you.

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use.
