can anyone tell me cost of tolls in total to the border of Spain from St Malo

It will depend upon which route you take to the border.

If you stay close to coast (i.e. passing Nantes and Bordeaux, on to San Sebast�an), ViaMichelin quotes �25.65.

However, ViaMichelin's recommended route to Gerona (passing Toulouse) , involves toll charges totalling �63.80:

Why do you want to use toll roads when the French roads are superb.Just use toll roads when you get to the south of France to cross the border into Spain where the roads are congested.Drive straight down from st.Malo (I think it's the N11 but not sure!) through the Loire valley and enjoy the trip at less cost and very easy driving We've done it loads of times
